Exosomes…..they’re those tiny little messenger things your cells use to talk to each other, and apparently skincare brands looked at that and said, “Great, but what if we made it a serum?” Which is very skincare of them.

I can’t totally disregard this beauty trend because I get the science behind exosomes. They are being researched for skin repair and post-procedure recovery and even for elasticity and improving the overall texture and tone of your skin. These are all concerns we start caring about more as we get older. I get how tempting this is for people over 50. It’s all the lovely little gift baskets of mature skin concerns, like dry and dull skin with a crepey texture, uneven tone and slower healing.

Here’s the thing. Exosome skincare is in its pricey, vague, “please explain what I am paying for” phase. Exosomes are showing up in serums, scalp treatments, post-procedure recovery mists, creams, ampoules, and even sheet masks now. Some are marketed as advanced skin healing technologies. Others feel like fancy face creams with a ~scientific~ ingredient list. And some are so expensive you want to close the tab and chug cold water instead.

The research for professional treatments and for the post-procedure use is promising, but still early. Most studies are small and many have exosomes combined with treatments such as microneedling or lasers, so it is hard to determine what effect the exosomes have by themselves. Therefore, I wouldn’t consider them to be magic anti-aging drops. I would see them more as something intriguing and expensive for an elevated skincare routine.

In short, sunscreen matters. So does moisturizer. Retinoids, peptides, ceramides, and barrier support also matter. Exosomes are more like a fancy extra credit assignment, not the whole class.

Below: 33 exosome products you can actually buy right now, ranked from “I could swing that” to “okay, save up.”

1. An Overnight Peel-Off Mask With Salmon DNA for Glass Skin

COSRX PDRN EXOSOME Glaze Wrapping Mask with SALMON DNA PDRN, Instant Glow, Easy Peel-Off Overnight Mask for Glass Skin, Firmness, Elasticity & Skin Texture Care,1.69 fl. Oz, Korean Skin CareCOSRX PDRN EXOSOME Glaze Wrapping MaskSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Salmon DNA in a face mask seems a little dubious. But the K-beauty ingredient PDRN has a lot of secrets, sssshhh, and people say it’s good for skin cell turnover. The gel formula dries overnight into a light, non-stick film. This means you don’t have to worry about making pillow indentations in your skincare. You peel it off in the morning. Exosome technology supports your glass skin goals. PDRN is a substance that has been used in derm offices for a while now so the skin smoothing claims are not as wild. Skin that is tired will, in theory, be rejuvenated while you sleep, which is the dream.

2. A Microneedling Serum That Tingles Its Way to Smoother Pores

VT COSMETICS CICA Reedle Shot 700, Spicule Microneedling Serum for Pore Care&Exfoliation, Exosome&Centella Asiatica for Glass Skin, Acne&Blemish Care, Korean Liquid Skin Booster (1 Fl Oz / 30ml)VT COSMETICS CICA Reedle Shot 700See price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Microneedling, yes. It sounds intimidating. I get it. This Korean serum, however, is different. It uses small spicules, which are basically tiny needles made from sponges, and allows your skin to create invisible channels each time you use it. This will help everything you use after go deeper into your skin. There is a tingle. Yep, it is there, and yes, that is the point. The propolis extract and Centella Asiatica are there to calm you down. Don’t worry, your skin barrier is safe. The beginners’ version starts off easy with the 50 and 100 versions before you start working your way up to 700. Apply it on clean skin, and moisturizer, and try to avoid touching your face for a long time. Legend has it you will achieve the glass skin look.

3. Firming Ampoule With PDRN, Peptide, and Ceramide for Plumper Skin

VT COSMETICS PDRN Cica Exosome Ampoule, Firming Serum with Peptide & Ceramide for Anti-Aging, Wrinkle Care, Plumping, Hydration & Radiant Glow, For All Skin Types, Korean Skincare (1.01 fl. oz.)VT COSMETICS PDRN Cica Exosome AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

This product has three unique ingredients: PDRN, ceramide, and peptides. For those worried about fine lines, dry patches, or dull skin, those three ingredients are essentially the holy grail of Korean skin care. Even though it’s a lot to expect from just 1.01 ounces, the texture is interesting. It has a slippery, almost watery ampoiule feel that disappears in seconds and leaves no tacky residue under your foundation or sunscreen. If your skin gets red from new products, the calamine in this will really help. You can use this morning and night and just pat it on, don’t rub it. It’s super easy.

4. Pink Collagen Serum With Salmon DNA Spicules and Exosomes

medicube Exosome Shot PDRN Pink Collagen 7,500 PPM Spicule Facial Serum | Liquid Skin Booster | Exosome, Salmon DNA Spicules | Uneven Skin Tone, Pore Care, Skin Texture | Korean Skincare, 1.01 fl.ozmedicube Exosome Shot PDRN Pink Collagen 7,500See price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Spicules are tiny dissolving needles, and at 7,500 PPM, you are bound to notice them (medicube actually recommends starting at 2,000 PPM if this is your first time, which is understandable). The pink watery formula is light and goes on like a treatment essence, and the salmon DNA PDRN is the component dermatologists rave about for skin revitalization. Niacinamide evens out skin tone. Collagen adds elasticity. The whole “glass skin” trend in K-beauty? This is the kind of serum that people are using to achieve it. Not for the spice-averse, but strangely pleasing once you get used to the tingle.

5. Mix-It-Yourself Exosome Ampoule for a Fresh-From-the-Lab Feel

GD11 SCM 2-Step Exosome Ampoule, Freeze-Dried Powder 0.07 fl oz + Moisture Activator 0.17 fl oz, With CICA, Panthenol & Ceramide, K-Beauty Gentle Skin Hydration, 1 Pair (5,000ppm Exosomes + Activator)GD11 SCM 2-Step Exosome AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Two vials, one little ritual. This is where the magic (sort of) happens. You add the MOISTURE solution to the FREEZE DRIED powder. Cap it, shake to dissolve—and voilà, you’ve got yourself a brand new ampoule that didn’t exist just thirty seconds before. Which, okay, is kind of fun. What does freeze-drying do? It keeps the stem cell-derived exosomes, peptide complex, and sodium hyaluronate, while the magic happens, until you need them. Centella Asiatica, Ceramide NP, and panthenol are here to calm and comfort the barrier of anyone who has seen better days. Once it’s mixed, it feels like a light essence (not syrup) to layer under whatever you’ve got next without pilling. The 5,000ppm exosome count is the headline. The pat-it-in routine is the small joy.

6. Centella Exosome Serum With Niacinamide and Nine Peptides

EXOPROXYL CICA EXOSOmethod 20 Serum, Centella Asiatica Exosome with Niacinamide & 9 Peptides for Glass Skin, Radiance Ampoule for Uneven Tone and Skin Texture, Korean Skin Care (1.01 Fl Oz / 30ml)EXOPROXYL CICA EXOSOmethod 20 SerumSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Glass skin is the goal, and this Korean ampoule is tackling it in a step-by-step approach. Centella asiatica exosomes (20ppm, 1/1,000 of a pore) carry a nine-peptide complex deeper than your average serum can reach, while niacinamide does its thing on the dark spots and tone issues. Panthenol and allantoin take care of the hydration so it doesn’t feel stripping. The part that surprised me is the texture. It is a cream ampoule, and somehow it is both silky and weightless. It absorbs quickly enough that you can layer SPF over it without any pilling. Use it morning and night after toner. Patience is required, as with most things that are actually worth doing. Sensitive skin types included.

7. Scalp Exosomes With Growth Factor Peptides for Thinning Hair

Scalp Exosomes with Growth Factor Peptides (EGF & IGF), GHK-Cu, and Hyaluronic Acid – Topical Hair & Scalp Rejuvenation. Made in Korea. (100 mg Exosomes + 5 mL Peptide Solution)Scalp Exosomes with Growth Factor Peptides (EGFSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

I know we can agree that hair thinning is not an easy topic to discuss. This product consists of two vials, the first of which includes 100mg of stem-cell-derived exosomes and the second contains a 5ml peptide solvent that includes EGF, IGF, GHK-Cu and hyaluronic acid. You actually mix them yourself right before you apply the product to your scalp, which is reminiscent of an experiment from science class, but in a good way. The serum is actually pretty light and sinks into your scalp without leaving any greasy residue. This is great for when you need to leave the house after applying it. Additionally, the peptide complex targets scalp oil and dryness so it covers multiple uses. This is made in Korea and it is known that they take their products seriously over there.

8. Night Exosome Booster That Tingles On as Skincare Step Zero

VT COSMETICS CICA Reedle Shot 300, Advanced Night Exosome, Microneedling Serum, Centella Asiatica, Hyaluronic Acid, Propolis, Soft Skin, Regeneration, Glass Skin, Korean Skin Booster 1.69Fl Oz (50ml)VT COSMETICS CICA Reedle Shot 300See price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Centella Asiatica is a star here! It calms while the spicules (aka the “reedles”) do their thing with micro-exfoliation. Tingles? Yeah you’re supposed to. Tingles are good! The 300 strength is the more advanced version so VT recommends beginners to start with 50 or 100. Experience the entire thing is cushioned by hyaluronic acid and propolis, and the serum glides on watery thin, so you’ll barely feel it is there until the prickle hits. Used as a “step zero” before your normal essence, it is meant to aid everything else you use in absorbing better. Glass skin lovers have made it a whole thing. So, you know, maybe there’s some merit to glass skin.

9. Salmon DNA Ampoule That Targets Your Skin Turnover Cycle

REJURAN® Turnover Ampoule, c-PDRN® – Original Salmon DNA PDRN Face Serum for Rejuvenation, Firming, Hydration & Youthful Glow, Refines Skin Texture. Korean Skincare (1.01 fl oz)REJURAN® Turnover AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Having salmon DNA in your serum might sound crazy, but it has quietly been one of the most popular ingredients used in the Korean derm offices. Let’s break it down- the c-PDRN is at 0.5% concentration and is combined with Adenosine which is the ingredient that dermatologists tend to attribute to that firmer, bouncier look over time. As for texture, it is a thin, slightly slippery ampule that absorbs before you can think about it. There is no stickiness and no residue. The claim is focused on skin cell turnover, meaning with consistent use, rough patches and uneven skin tones are smoothed out and gently replaced with new skin. It is fragrance-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free. While it won’t be a miracle in a bottle, this serum will be a great option for anyone who’s skin has, let’s say, “issues.”

10. Body Lotion With Exosomes for Firmer, Smoother Skin

EXO BODY™ Exoceuticals Advanced Body Lotion | Unprecedented Hydration and Tone | Innovative Exosome Skin Care Solutions | 200ML (6.8 fl oz.)EXO BODY™ Exoceuticals Advanced Body LotionSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Exosomes are trending in skin care, and now they have come to the legs and elbows. The consistency is silky and doesn’t feel slippery or greasy, which matters when you are dressing two minutes later. The fragrance-free formula is also appreciated since my perfume situation is already a lot. The directions say to apply targeting damp skin after the shower and that part actually changes everything. It absorbs more quickly while the hydration sticks around for longer. The natural ingredient blend is meant to smooth and firm over time. This is a nice upgrade to the lotion drawer. This is probably the only upgrade in there to be honest.

11. Tingly Hair Loss Ampoule With Spicules That Reach 20 Layers Deep

lilyeve GROWTURN Exosome Spicule Ampoule 3000, Focused Hair Loss & Scalp Solution in 7 days, 4th Generation Exosome Spicule Care, Korean Hair Care, 0.34 fl. oz.lilyeve GROWTURN Exosome Spicule Ampoule 3000See price on AmazonSee on Amazon

So, hair loss isn’t really an easy subject to breach, but here we are. I mean, 4 weeks with a 78% decrease in hair loss sounds crazy good, especially when you read about spicules. These are tiny little particles that have been processed 15 times, and create an actual tingle on the scalp because they push 4th generation exosomes into the skin (allegedly) as deep as 20 layers. It’s very very mildly painful to have that tingle, and it’s oddly satisfying. This product causes a tingle that you will feel first, and it will feel a little prickly. They use exosomes in advanced stem cell technology, and a lot of people find that to be very effective. The dropper is meant to be used around the hairline and the crown, which is where most of us have thinning hair and focus on the most when looking in the mirror. The brand states that you should see results in 7 days, and I have to say, it’s worth a shot.

12. Korean Ampoule Kit With Exosomes, PDRN, and Five Peptides

Hanheal Facial Exosome Skin Booster Ampuole, with Exosomes, Peptides, HA, & PDRN, Made in Korea, (5ml x 5 + 100mg x 5)Hanheal Facial Exosome Skin Booster AmpuoleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

It’s a Korean kit with five vials of freeze-dried exosomes, five vials of peptide solutions, and a ton of other clinical-grade materials. This one is for the aestheticians who have moved on from basic serums and are now saying polynucleotides at dinner. The formulation combines PDRN with glutathione, hyaluronic acid, and elastin and collagen supporting peptides. It is specifically designed for microneedling and post-procedure use which is why it’s so sterile and freshly mixed after you combine the powder and liquid. It’s cool, watery, and almost slippery to the touch. It helps with sun damage, enlarged pores, and the classic my face looks tired syndrome. Definitely not a casual buy, but the ingredient list justifies the cost.

13. Freeze-Dried Cica Powder You Mix Fresh With a Rose PDRN Ampoule

GD11 Repair Ampoule Program, Freeze-Dried Cica Exosome Powder + PDRN-Infused Activator, Fast-Acting Soothing Care for Stressed Skin, Soothing Hydration & Smooth Skin Texture, K-beauty Glass-Skin GlowGD11 Repair Ampoule ProgramSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

At least it feels like a bit of a science experiment. You pour a rose-scented liquid into a tiny vial of freeze-dried powder, shake it until it’s all dissolved, then pat it onto your face. This one is designed to look a bit like a science experiment. Because of the two-step system, the active ingredients (which are Damask Rose PDRN at 50,000ppm and a nano Cica Exosome complex) are kept stable until you actually use them, unlike other serums sitting in your shelf slowly oxidizing. The hydration and firmness is from the Edelweiss peptides and a ten-weight hyaluronic acid stack. The texture is cool and watery. It slightly dewy and skin feels plump and calm. Its good for stressed-out complexions that have been through a week.

14. Microneedling Serum With 120,000 ppm of Salmon DNA and EGF Peptides

Salmon DNA PDRN 120,000 ppm EGF Peptide Microneedling Serum w/Volufiline, Phyto PDRN 12%, Growth Factor - Anti-Aging Face Serum with Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid 1 Fl Oz Korean SkincareSalmon DNA PDRN 120,000 ppm EGF PeptideSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

What stands out here is the 12% PDRN, and to be honest, that number speaks for itself. 2% comes from salmon DNA and 10% is from phyto sources, but it also contains EGF peptides, Volufiline, and 20,000 ppm niacinamide on top. It may sound like a lot for one inch of a dropper, but it is justified with the use of lecithin-based liposome encapsulation, which pushes everything past the surface instead of just sitting there. The texture is surprising. It is watery and a little slippery and it is gone in about thirty seconds. There is no tacky film, no pilling under sunscreen and the hydration side is taken care of by hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and panthenol which ensures things stay calm. Good for post-microneedling nights when your face feels a little raw and very dramatic about it.

15. An Exosome Treatment With 10 Billion Particles per Vial

EXOCELL Exosomes for Skin Rejuvenation and Anti-Aging, 10 Billion Particles, 980K PPM, Korean Beauty Formula (X1 Exosomes + X2 HA Solution)EXOCELL Exosomes for Skin Rejuvenation and AntiSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Ten billion freeze-dried exosome particles. That’s the headline, and yes, it’s a lot of numbers for one little vial. You mix the X1 powder with the X2 hyaluronic acid solution right before applying, which feels very science-experiment-at-the-bathroom-sink, in a good way. The texture afterward is slippery but not sticky, the kind of finish that disappears under moisturizer. What sets this apart from the growing exosome shelf is the two-step format: the actives stay stable until you activate them, so you’re not paying for a serum that started degrading months ago. Skin looks plumper by morning. The Korean beauty pedigree doesn’t hurt either. Worth the fuss if you’re already deep into ampoules.

16. Multi-Peptide Serum With 2% Exosomes for Post-Microneedling Recovery

Exosomes for Skin Serum – Anti-Aging Multi Peptide Serum for Face Pores, Fine Lines & Microneedling – 2% Exosomes, GHK-Cu Copper Peptides, Argireline, EGF & Hyaluronic AcidExosomes for Skin Serum – AntiSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

After microneedling, your skin needs something gentle and hydrating. This has gentle and hydrating ingredients. It has 2% plant-derived exosomes, GHK-Cu copper peptides, Argireline, EGF (Oligopeptide-1), and dual-weight hyaluronic acid. It’s a lot in a small bottle. The texture is really watery and it absorbs really fast, and it doesn’t give a tacky feeling, like other peptides. It has Panthenol and allantoin which helps with calming, which is great if your skin just went through a lot. This can be used in the day or night, goes great with SPF, and doesn’t pill under your moisturizer. That’s kind of the dream?

17. Five Vials of Stem-Cell Exosomes for Serious Skin Rejuvenation

Stem-Cell Exosome Skin Booster Kit Booster Ampoule| Exosome, PDRN, Peptide, Collagen | Rejuvenation, Hydration, Anti-Aging | Korean Skincare 30ml (Solutions 0.01 oz x 5 Vials/Ampoule 1.01 fl.oz)Stem-Cell Exosome Skin Booster Kit Booster AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Four key components in a single kit: exosomes, PDRN, peptides, and collagen. With each ingredient serving a different function, these booster kits are easy to use, or at least easier than trying to remember which ingredient does what. You mix the freeze-dried vials into the ampoule solution before use, which is supposed to keep everything fresher. The solution is watery (not sticky) and absorbs quickly. As you probably know, K-beauty has been doing exosome boosters for a while and This one points more towards the clinical end of the spectrum (hydration, fine lines etc. kind of post 30’s routine). 5 rounds in total. It’s not something you do every day. It’s more of a Sunday night dim the lights and I’m trying to do something here kind of thing. Which is sort of the whole point.

18. Rose Exosome Ampoule With a Five-Week Plan for Stressed Skin

ASCE+ Calming Exosome Ampoule Pro – Rose Exosome for Hydrating & Skin Glow, Boosts Collagen Production, Rejuvenating - 5 Week overnight Wrinkle & Pigmentation Care 0.59 ozASCE+ Calming Exosome Ampoule Pro – RoseSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Rose-based exosomes are the heavy hitters here, while panthenol and beta-glucan are the scud missiles to keep the angry skin from fully revolting. The ampoule is lightweight, almost watery, and absorbs before you finish massaging it. No stickiness, no fragrance riffs. It is designed for five weeks of consistency with nightly dropout capsules, ideally before your moisturizer. Summer sensitive, reactive skin, tends to like those types of formulas. The trio bolstering the barrier supports dehydrated and dull skin without the actives that irritate your other products. A calm, low-drama addition to a nighttime lineup. Which, honestly, is the ideal scenario.

19. Spicule Serum With Needle-Shaped Particles and 15 Million Exosome Shots

medicube Exosome Shot Zero 7,500 PPM Spicule Facial Serum | Liquid Skin Booster Serum | Exosome, AHA+BHA+PHA | Pore Care, Dead Skin Cells, Skin Texture | Korean Skincare, 1.01 fl.ozmedicube Exosome Shot Zero 7,500 PPM SpiculeSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Microscopic needle-thin spicules literally make the product work, and they are remarkably good at it. It’s not a panic thing, just a tingling sensation that feels like a small announcement that literally something is happening. And something is happening, as spicules open micro-channels so that the 7,500 PPM exosomes, niacinamide, and panthenol get absorbed beyond the top layer of skin instead of just sitting there. And, of course, there’s an AHA-BHA-PHA blend working on the dead skin and pore stuff in the background. I used it two times a week and by week two had noticeably smoother skin. The tingling is real and the bottle is small. Sensitive skin types should absolutely patch test first, although Medicube did get it clinically approved for low irritancy.

20. Daily Serum Packing 5 Billion Exosomes and 700 Growth Factors

RadiantXO Exosome Serum, 1.0 Fl Oz | 5 Billion Exosomes & 700 Growth Factors, Proprietary Stabilization, Supports Collagen, Radiant & Youthful-Looking Complexion, Regeneration, Next-Gen Daily SkincareRadiantXO Exosome SerumSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Five billion exosomes per bottle sounds like a lot because it is a lot. The proprietary stabilization means that the exosomes stay viable in the bottle, unlike most products that have exosomes that become degraded by the time the product gets to your face. The 700-plus growth factors that are riding along with the exosomes are also kept stable. The serum goes on slightly slippery with no detectable fragrance, and it absorbs before second-guessing your layering order. The serum is marketed for firmness and a smoother texture and aims for a more even tone – all the usual aging-skin checklist. Whether five billion exosomes outperform a solid retinol is a question for your dermatologist. It is polished entry into next-gen daily skincare.

21. Korean Booster Kit With PDRN, Peptides, and Collagen in One

Stem-Cell Exosome Skin Booster Kit Booster Ampoule| Exosome, PDRN, Peptide, Collagen | Rejuvenation, Hydration, Anti-Aging | Korean Skincare 30ml (Solutions 0.01 oz x 5 Vials/Ampoule 1.01 fl.oz)Stem-Cell Exosome Skin Booster Kit Booster AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Five vials and an ampoule bottle? Sounds a bit scary, right? Well, that’s how a DIY skin booster kit works. It’s perhaps intimidating, but once you do it, you’ll find it easier. You first mix the freeze-dried exosome solutions into the base ampoule, after shaking it up, you then get 30ml of serum filled with PDRN, peptides, and collagen. PDRN is the one that caught my attention. It’s a Korean-derived ingredient that dermatologists use post-procedure for skin repair. The serum is very light to the point that it feels a bit slippery and it’s unscented. Once cleansed, the serum is best used at night. I will admit it’s a project, but it’s definitely more fun, like a mini science experiment, instead of feeling like a chore.

22. An OG Growth Factor Treatment That Started the Exosome Skincare Craze

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Facial Treatment - Advanced Growth Factor & Exosome Formula for Skin Rejuvenation - Helps to Improve the Appearance of Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and Uneven Skin Tone (1 Oz)SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Facial TreatmentSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

SkinMedica is the first company to put fibblast exosomes in a bottle. Fun fact to drop during a dermatology appointment to watch the nurse’s head nod. The formula also works with a patented growth factor blend (most concentrated formulation the brand offers) to help soften fine lines and improve skin tone, evenness, and complexion. The initial texture of the product is a lightweight, slightly tacky gel, that will disappear under moisturizer in a minute. This is not perfume-y, not stinging, just calming and doing the slow work whilst serums take front seat. For a complete SkinMedica experience, pair it with TNS Advanced+ or run it solo, either way, it’s a journey to prove your patience.

23. Lightweight Ampoule With PDRN, Milk Exosomes, and Seven Collagens

WELLDERMA PDRN Exosome Hydro Ampoule, 30ml – Lightweight Moisture Serum with Niacinamide, Peptides & Collagen Complex for Skin RevitalizationWELLDERMA PDRN Exosome Hydro AmpouleSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Most water-based serums don’t get this much done in 30ml. We’ve got seven (7!) types of collagen (hydrolyzed, atelocollagen, procollagen, plus four others), a four-peptide blend, niacinamide, panthenol, allantoin, and PDRN + milk exosome combo for revitalization. And the texture? Absorbs practically instant. No stickiness at all (yes, you can use this under your SPFs; yes, you can layer this with all your morning skincare)! Okay, I get it. The ingredient list is a K-beauty fantasy. But the lightweight feeling is what’ll make me keep reaching for this. It’s ampoule packed with actives so it’s quite rare for sensitive skin.

24. Exosome-Coated Spicules That Deliver AHA, BHA, and PHA Straight to Pores

medicube Exosome Shot Zero 2,000 PPM Spicule Facial Serum | Liquid Skin Booster Serum | Exosome, AHA+BHA+PHA | Pore Care, Dead Skin Cells, Skin Texture | Korean Skincare, 1.01 fl.ozmedicube Exosome Shot Zero 2,000 PPM SpiculeSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Spicules are small needle-like structures that can cause a mild tingling feelings when they penetrate your skin. It’s almost like doing an exfoliating scrub but without having to scrub your face yourself, which is a strange experience the first time you try it. The 2,000 PPM concentration is quite high and combined with an AHA, BHA and PHA blend for pore cleansing and niacinamide and panthenol for skin barrier support. Medicube says that due to their exosome-coated technology, there is a 242% increase in active ingredient absorption. I can’t say whether that is true or not, but I did notice my skin appeared much smoother by the next morning. The tingling sensation can be strong, so it may be best to start with using it only 2 times a week.

25. Vitamin C Serum With Tangerine Exosomes for Stubborn Dark Spots

GOODAL Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum [Advanced Ver.] – Facial Serum with 5% Niacinamide & Exosome Technology | Helps Improve the Dull Skin for Radiant Skin | Korean Skincare 1.01 fl oz / 30 mlGOODAL Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum [AdvancedSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

In K-beauty, the latest trend is the green tangerine from Jeju Island. The best part is that the unripe green tangerine contains more Vitamin C than its ripe counterpart. This means the more advanced formula combines stabilized Vitamin C and 5% niacinamide. The unique thing with this serum is exosome technology which helps to penetrate the serum even deeper into the skin. It really does sound like a lot is going on in this serum but in reality it is a thin, almost watery serum that disappears upon application. There is no tacky feeling, no stinging, and no weird film under your sunscreen. Goodal’s original ‘dark-spot’ serum was clinically proven to provide a certain amount of dark-spot correction, and the new formula claims to provide double that amount with visible results in just 1 week. Whether you want to believe that or not is completely up to you. What is it really hard to argue with is that there is now a brightening serum that is gentle enough for sensitive skin and is priced lower than a fancy lunch.

26. Billion-Exosome Serum With Copper Peptides for Poreless, Calmer Skin

Each bottle has more than a billion regenerative exosomes. That’s a crazy big number, especially for one ounce. What really got me was the rest of the formula. It has copper peptide GHK-Cu (the one your dermatologist keeps bringing up), and niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. That means it works on collagen, redness, and texture all at the same time. The serum has a super cool feeling on the skin. It’s so light and almost feels like water. It sinks in so quickly almost like it’s telling you to not think about it. Reviewers say their skin is calmer, which definitely makes sense with the copper peptide doing its thing under the skin. It’s definitely expensive, but this is for people who are looking at long-term effects with how the skin ages.

27. Freeze-Dried Exosome Powder You Mix Fresh Before Each Use

GD11 Exosome Ampoule Set, Freeze-Dried Powder 0.07 fl oz + Moisture Activator 0.17 fl oz, Firm-Looking Skin & Even Tone, K-beauty Glass-Skin Glow, 3 Pairs (50,000ppm Exosome Powder + Activator)GD11 Exosome Ampoule SetSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Choosing how to make your ‘shake’ is part of the fun, but what matters is the exosomes. Each set gives you about three days of freshly mixed exosomes, because once activated, exosomes become stable. With this set, you get 50,000ppm of exosomes from stem cells, which are mixed with Pycnogenol and Glutathione to help with skin tone. This is combined with the activator. Once you mix it and the powder dissolves, skin is going to feel a little sticky for a second, before it sinks in and feels smooth and a little damp. This is the texture that Korean beauty fans are after. Each set is enough to see how your skin responds before going for the complete glass-skin look.

28. Growth Factor Serum for Skin That’s Seen Some Things

Osmosis StemFactor Growth Factor Exosome Facial Treatment, Age-Defying Skin Renewal, 1 Fl Oz SerumOsmosis StemFactor Growth Factor Exosome Facial TreatmentSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Growth factors plus exosomes, which sounds like a lot because it kind of is. The pitch: support the skin’s own renewal process so fine lines and rough texture look less, well, present. It’s lightweight. Almost watery. Sinks in fast enough that you can layer a moisturizer right after without that tacky middle phase nobody enjoys. Meant for skin that’s been through it (late nights, recycled airplane air, general life), and it goes on face and neck because the neck deserves the same attention, honestly. Morning or evening, after cleanser, before moisturizer. A small bottle, but serums like this aren’t really about volume. They’re about what’s inside.

29. Microneedling Serum That Skips the Derm Appointment Entirely

Reedle shots are definitely in this year, and with PDRN exosomes and sea sponge spicule needles, there’s definitely hype involved. These spicules create microscopic channels in the skin, helping active ingredients sink in. So, it’s true, there is a bit of a prickly tingle, even scary the first time. Centella tones the tingles down and helps with the prickly feeling while Niacinamide, Collagen, and Hyaluronic Acid help with the hydration and skin barrier. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could use a home microneedle with moisturizer over top. Your skin should have a glassy appearance within a few weeks. Less makeup is needed, which is the dream.

30. Dragon’s Blood Serum That Tingles for a Reason

The name sounds really cool, but it’s really just sap from the Croton lechleri tree, and that’s why this serum gets put under barrier repair rather than pure exfoliation. The little tingle sensation is from micro-sized silica spicules that feel like microneedles. The prickle sensation, is gone within minutes. Used as a Step Zero before toner, it preps skin for everything that follows: essences, ampoules, the whole ten-step situation. Exosomes handle the renewal side, dragon’s blood handles the soothing. Reviewers also use it on the scalp before shampoo, which sounds unhinged. Not for compromised skin. Otherwise, worth the tingle.

31. Cica Leaf Exosomes and Sea Moss for Serious Plumping

This small bottle contains over three million cica leaf exosomes. I had to do some research to figure out what that means. Exosomes are small particles that signal skin cells to calm down and to hydrate, while cica leaf is the K-beauty plant that soothes. The consistency is gel-like and is viscous in a way that feels satisfying. Polyglutamic acid and hyaluronic acid draw moisture in, while snow mushroom and red sea moss trap moisture. According to goop, the clinical aspect they mention states that a single use increased hydration by 184%. That’s a significant number. Just two drops, once in the morning and once at night, and you’re good to go.

32. Botanical Stem Cell Ampoule That Absorbs Without the Needle

Botanical stem cells work with a low-molecular weight formula that absorbs fast. Perfect for you if you layer on the products, and need low- weight absorption. Great for your skincare and then put on a sweater kind of person. For a small detail, I liked the dropper that stays hot in the bottle on the collector. The consistency is thin and watery and its not sticky under your spf. It’s made in South Korea, cruelty free, and for both the body and face. Versatile, that’s a word I’d use.

33. An Exosome Ampoule With NMN for a Lifted, Bouncier Finish

idplacosmetics EXO-V Plus Ampoule 1.01 fl.oz (30ml) – Korean Microneedling Serum for Smoother, Plumper Skin, 99.9% 100.4 nm Encapsulated Exosome + NMN, for Microneedle Roller (250µm)idplacosmetics EXOSee price on AmazonSee on Amazon

Each time a blue micro-bead is dissolved in the serum, it creates a fun experience. Encapsulation capsules keep active ingredients stable until you need them. In addition to being fun, this experience is also functional. There is a whole lot of pure 99.9% simple exosomes (100.4 NM), NMN, niacinamide, Lactobacillus, extracellular vesicles, and collagen. It’s non-tacky, and absorbs quickly so you don’t have to deal with that awful sticky feeling that some ampoules have. The formula is designed, to be used, with a 250μm microneedle roller, making this more of an ongoing commitment than a throwaway addition to your routine. The clinical slant also isn’t just a marketing gimmick, as it has been developed by the dermatology team at ID Healthcare Group. Use post toner, morning and night. Skin appears to be a bit more bouncy.
